Students from IPOL presented a poster reporting some of our findings from Iowa Poll #229 from 1978 in Des Moines. Thom Blair, Makenna Gregurek, Kaitlin Knape, and Yunseo Ki all headed to the Iowa Statehouse on March 25 to meet with legislators and other officials as part of the annual Research in the Capitol event. Iowa Poll #229 asked about many topics that are once again prominent; our poster focused on questions related to President Carter, the Middle East and Palestine, and women and gays' role in society.
