Students from IPOL presented a poster reporting some of our findings from Iowa Poll #213 from 1974 in Chicago at the Midwest Political Science Association's annual meeting. Cooper Negen and Dave Cacho headed to the Palmer House Hilton for April 23-26 to participate in the undergraduate research poster presentation sessions. They discussed our findings with conference attendees, including other undergraduate poster presenters, and attended other panels and events while at the conference. Iowa Poll #248 asked about many topics that are once again prominent; our poster focused on questions related to Presidential assassination attempts, handgun laws, a possible invasion of Poland by Russia, and school funding in Iowa. Support for their participation was provided by IPOL, the Department of Political Science, the Dewey Stuit fund in Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Marvin and Rose Lee Pomerantz Chair, and the Office of Undergraduate Research.
